About Rasaan

A life formed by sacred music and the worshiping Church.

Rasaan Hakiem has spent more than two decades serving congregations through sacred music, liturgical planning, choir leadership, organ performance, and pastoral collaboration.

His work stands at the intersection of tradition and transformation: helping churches sing more confidently, plan more faithfully, preserve institutional memory, and strengthen worship across seasons.

Whether leading a choir, accompanying a liturgy, consulting with parish leaders, improvising for silent film, or building Liturgical Intelligence™, Rasaan’s work is rooted in one conviction: music should form people for deeper prayer.

The Work

One vocation, several expressions.

Sacred Music

Organist & Worship Leader

Liturgical organ and piano leadership for Masses, services, weddings, funerals, concerts, and special parish celebrations.

Choral Formation

Choir Builder

Transforming volunteer singers into disciplined, confident, beloved parish ensembles through trust, rehearsal culture, and pastoral musicianship.

Consulting

Liturgical Consultant

Supporting churches with music ministry strategy, seasonal planning, cantor development, repertoire systems, and worship program renewal.

Innovation

Founder of Liturgical Intelligence™

Building AI-assisted worship planning tools that preserve institutional memory and help churches plan with context, continuity, and care.

Performance

Silent Film Improviser

Creating live improvised organ scores for silent films, where the organ becomes orchestra, narrator, atmosphere, and storyteller.

Thought Leadership

Writer & Speaker

Offering reflections on sacred music, congregational singing, organist formation, AI and ministry, and the future of liturgical leadership.

What shapes the work

  • Worship should be musically excellent, liturgically grounded, and sustainable.
  • Churches need systems that preserve wisdom across leadership transitions.
  • Volunteer choirs can become deeply expressive and professional-quality ensembles.
  • Familiar music can become a doorway into deeper worship when people are formed well.
  • Technology should assist ministry, never replace pastoral leadership.
Philosophy

Pray the music. Do not merely perform it.

Rasaan’s approach to sacred music is pastoral before it is technical. The musician’s task is not simply to play, conduct, or select repertoire, but to help the congregation enter the sacred mysteries with confidence and heart.

That philosophy carries through all of his work: in the choir loft, at the organ console, in consulting, in writing, and in the design of Liturgical Intelligence™.

Liturgical Intelligence™

Building the future of worship planning.

Liturgical Intelligence™ grew out of Rasaan’s firsthand experience of how much worship wisdom lives in memory, scattered files, and informal tradition.

Powered by Ordo AI™, the platform helps churches plan worship through Congregational Intelligence™, Parish Memory™, Liturgical Library™, Music Intelligence™, and SundayBuilder™.

Core applications

  • SundayBuilder™ — AI-assisted worship planning for churches.
  • Parish Memory™ — institutional wisdom preserved over time.
  • Congregational Intelligence™ — teaching Ordo AI™ how a congregation worships, sings, remembers, and grows.
